Looking for accommodation (don't mind whether it's in a holiday village, an Airbnb type standalone apartment/property, or hôtel) within 2 hours' drive of Paris in any ddirection (2.5 hrs. at a push). But not in Paris/'burbs.
In a town with something relatively interesting to see / walk around (not middle of nowhere).
Preferably with indoor pool but not essential.
Specifically looking for recommendations of accommodation MNers have stayed at and liked.
