Can anyone help with finding a smart watch that does one simple thing?!

I am trying to shop for a new smart one. Had one a few years ago and until recently had an old one from a friend who'd brought a new one.

There is one thing I want - it to show the time when I turn my wrist up! I've tried watches that either don't do it, or require a flick, or touching it to activate the screen. I don't think it is a settings thing.

Such a watch must must exist!

My Apple Watch does this

My Fitbit does it too.

Both my fitbits show time when I raise my arm, but not when I turn my wrist. It's a specific movement, maybe not what you mean

Apple Watch series 5 and 6 have an "always on" display setting switched on by default so the time is always shown and you don't need to do any particular wrist movement to see it.

Fitbits do that

Hi op, my fitbit has the time on display constantly.

My Samsung galaxy watch does that, the screen stays off otherwise

OK, thank you. I clearly am not moving my hand right, or have the right settings or something! I will keep looking.

I've just got a cheap Amazon one. You need to turn on "wrist sense" or something similar in the settings.

Had Samsung Galaxy Watch, Fitbit, and Apple Watch 6, and all do it.

Apple Watch always on its brilliant though, and wouldn't use anything else now.

Withings watches look like watches, real hands so never not showing the time.
