dental/orthodontic question

So upset Sad
My young adult disabled ds partially knocked out his front tooth (accident).
The tooth didn't come out completely but it's slightly loose. We went to the dentist who said basically "wait and see", might tighten.

I am convinced that the tooth actually came out a bit and 2 days later it's even more obvious that the tooth is longer than it was before Sad

I did mention it and ask the dentist whether it would be possible to push it back in but he didn't want to do that and said, oh, it must have been like that before - but I am fairly sure it wasn't because now the lip swelling has gone down, ds seems to have acquired a lisp Sad

Can anyone with dental/orthodontic knowledge could tell me whether this would be possible to adjust at this/later stage with a brace?
