Fancy dress help

I'm going to a murder mystery and have to dress in fancy dress, dam! It has to be 1908 and we've been told the time of Mary Poppins.

This is totally not my thing and I'm utterly clueless so can anyone give me any suggestions what I can wear or buy please? I'm female and would like to attend as a female.

Google Edwardian fancy dress? You might get some ideas there. I think it might be a tricky style to customise, so it might be a case of buying something.
