4 weeks for secondary school uniform!

I started off organised, ordered uniform for my son from M & S in July. It’s just dawned on me I hadn’t ordered his school jumpers and tie. I’ve ordered them today from the only supplier and it says it could take up to 4 weeks! He starts secondary school next week! I’m hoping they might arrive in time but it seems unlikely So annoyed with myself. Anybody else managed to leave everything to the last minute? I definitely should have ordered them straight away and saved myself the stress.

Not helpful, but in future June is the best time to sort school uniform out.

Is there really no other supplier? Do you know anyone with older kids who can donate some uniform for now. Is there a community swap shop for uniform? Put an ask out on local Facebook pages?

Yeah I will definitely order in June next time. Yes, only one official supplier. No one I know has older children at the school. I might try Facebook though. Thanks for the suggestion!
