Treating ds to some clothes for college and out local town has very few designer shops so I was looking at Carbot circus as didn't rate cribs or Cardiff as just like the town. Any recommendations/advice would be great especially for parking 😁

Cardiff is fab. You can park in St David's 2 or in John Lewis. The satnav will take you straight there.

With Cardiff it's all within walking distance/easy to find. St David's 2 is good for parking

I'm in Bristol. The one person I know who is into fashion goes shopping in Cardiff instead...

Oh thank you ladies. Sorry just re read my post and realised it didn't make sense it's been a long day 🙈. I've never been Caboot but do love Cardiff 😊

I think they’re both excellent. Wouldn’t like to choose!

Cardiff is better, I live a lot closer to Bristol so tend to go there for day to day stuff but if I'm doing a big shop (like getting Christmas presents) and want to make a day of it we always go to Cardiff.

Whenever I go shopping in Bristol, it seems like there are fewer shops. I like going to Cardiff for a treat!

Meltinthemiddle · 22/08/2021 21:35

Ah thank you that makes my decision easier as been to Cardiff a few times even though Bristol is closer. I will stick to Cardiff 😁

Can anyone recommend somewhere to eat in Cardiff? Not too pricey

I'm not so sure as I would go so far as to recommend it Grin but, at that age, my DC and their friends loved the JRC Global Buffet. We used to go there regularly for sports events and it was the most popular choice with the teens.

There was a fresh grill where they cooked your food to order that was great.

If you don't like Cribbs I would go to Cardiff. Cribbs is better than Cabot!

Try the Botanist in Cardiff for lunch. Or Cafe Citta if you like Italian. Or Ty Madeira if you like Portuguese.

There are loads of places iirc but those stuck out.

Meltinthemiddle · 26/08/2021 19:47

Love Italian thank you!
