Would you see a doctor about this?

DD is 12 years old, frequently saying she feels sick (couple of times a week). No other real symptoms to go with it, appetite good, growing, no weightloss, not anxious about anything. It's been happening on and off for a couple of months now.

Yes. I wouldn't want to wish id mentioned it.

Have her periods started? If not, perhaps they may soon. It could be hormonal.

I would, but not yet.
For the next 4-6 weeks , keep a diary for her.
Details of food she eats, drinks...
Activities.
See if there is a pattern. It could be an allergy or sport injury?
The doctor would suggest doing this anyway as a first step.

I took my daughter who was 11 with this. They checked her bloods, all fine. Told us it was very common in teenage girls. Also, told us fainting was very common in teenage girls incidentally.

Thanks everyone. I'll keep an eye on things.
