I've just made a stew type thing I frequently make. Its a Chinese type thing with the sauce being sesame oil, sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, chili
I have accidentally put fish sauce in instead of sesame oil. It taste very distinctive
Can I counteract it with anything?

More sugar. It’s basically salty, so counteract it with sweetness. You may then need to balance the sweetness with something like rice wine vinegar. Just keep tasting,

Thanks. I searched online and it said vinegar which didn't work
Sugar did
