What is your best antique / second hand jewellery find?

Hello,

I went into our local town yesterday afternoon to begin looking for mine and my DP's wedding rings.
I had looked in all of the mainstream and high street jewellers with no luck - I needed to find a wedding band that will work with my engagement ring since it's a pear shape!
I was really beginning to loose hope and had even went to grab a coffee and google places where you can make your own / that can custom make a ring to fit around your existing one.. when my DP suggested looking in the tiny little antique jewellers opposite..

I just say I've never looked in an antique / second hand jewellers before but do often have a glance as I walk past.. well we went inside, I took my engagement ring off to show the gentleman and he told me to hold on, he has just the thing...

And he came out with this! The band fits LIKE A GLOVE around my engagement ring, it's like it's meant to be!

I also got it at such a good price compared to the high street chain stores, I'm so delighted!

So it got me thinking - has anybody else ever found a 'meant to be' or bargain piece of jewellery in second hand / antique stores? It's like I've found a new found love for antiques and second hand! We are off our today to an antiques fair in the city centre where there are jewellers, I'm so excited 😆😊

Wow!!!! That's perfect
Mine is a diamond bracelet that we thought was crystals/fake. Turns out it isn't and has to be insured with a photograph separately

@TheSloaneRanger what an amazing find! That sounds absolutely beautiful!

A Lavalier pendant in an antique shop in York.
It’s Edwardian and has amethyst, peridot and pearls as the stones which are the suffragette colours and what I wanted.
