Easy....

Buy these and people can pick their own songs and then hand them over to the DJ. 😁

So we sent the wedding invites out with this request and only about five people answered 😂

And we're not having a DJ. I'm it lol

Depends on lots of things.

Is it a DJ?

How old are the couple getting married?

How old is the ‘average’ person there?

Will people get up for party songs? Is that the theme your going for?

Depends on sooooooo much

Just saw your update.

So no DJ…

So how are you planning to do it?

ImAddictedToMyPhone · 22/08/2021 03:27

@Myusernameisnotmyusernameno we didn't send them out with the invites. We put them on the tables with personalised pencils. It prompted people to answer after they'd eaten.

So cool you're DJing 😁

Congratulations 😊 will you have decks?

Kinsters · 22/08/2021 04:01

I'd go for plenty of classics that people like to sing and dance along to. Slow songs so you've got some breaks and then fill it up with your personal favourites.

Google wedding playlist. Comes up with lots of lists. Then pick the ones you like

MrsTerryPratchett · 22/08/2021 04:15

I've wedding DJed. Actually in real life.

Start with modern, quick tempo chart toppers. This decade. Descend into timeless 'classics' like We Are Family as time goes on. End with a floor clearer like New York New York or Closing Time.

Done.

Top tips. There are songs everyone loves. Pretty much anything by Marvin Gaye or any Motown. Pitch your timing to the age of the punter. Don't go down any alleyways no matter how tempting (The Prodigy to Inspiral Carpets and on to Manchester baggy). It's not a crowd pleaser.
