Hi,
Super low S92 helicopter just flew from Lincoln, down to Nottm and now heading out over Scunthorpe to East Coast nr the Humber.
Woke our whole household.
Anyone any ideas why so low, so late and what for? Not police or air ambulance.
Is v unusual.

Did a weird loop back on itself to Nottingham, flying in straight lines / a mini square!
Not registered to show info on Flight Radar website. Am curious (now I'm flipping awake...)

Weird. Has just landed at Humberside. Maybe it didn't track right away.
Do you know why it would fly over land for about an hour?

There's been an accident at a car meet in Lincoln avoiding a number of pedestrians and onlookers there said the S92 attended (not sure if it landed)

This flew over our house a couple off hours ago. Frightened the hell out off me, thought it was going to crash into house

New2ctc · 22/08/2021 02:54

I thought it was going to crash into our house too! Feel so sorry for the car accident people, they will have families waiting for them.
Thank you Coastguard, for working 24hr. They might've dropped passengers off at Nottingham hospital.
One disrupted night is nothing compared to the crews working all hours in challenging jobs.
Thank you, emergency services.
