Hi I thought being at a private dentist would mean shorter waiting times. But im waiting 2 months between each appointment Sad is that normal?

Are there others in the area that you could switch to? Is the work needed urgently or is it cosmetic?

I had an implant years ago now and had to wait a couple of months at least for it to 'take' before going back to have the final bit fitted. Is that what is happening maybe? I dare say the process is different nowadays but it could be that something of a wait is part of the treatment?

All dentists are working through a big backlog of check-ups etc at the moment, I should think, after the various lockdowns, so you may not have much better luck elsewhere. I think any dentist might be quite wary of taking over in the middle of a course of treatment - they would have to start again with X-rays etc surely?

In June I had moulds taken in August I had 1 tooth taken out. Because it was wobbly. I'm actually going to have all my teeth removed by the end. But next appointment is in October. They are all 8 weeks apart . I definitely won't change dentist . And I guess your probably right about back logs to

From what I've heard about implants it can be a long process.
