Strangest thing you've seen someone do in public?

Weeing doesn't count! Grin Far too common.

I just came out of Asda and walked by a car with a woman chucking back scoops of Cow and Gate powder!

I thought in my head that can't be right, maybe she's suspicious parenting and testing to see if it's okay.

Saw her doing the same again when I drove off. Just taking scoops and eating them!

What's the strangest thing you've seen someone do in public?

I’ve a few-
Going down the motorway in Cyprus saw a flatbed truck with a princess like carriage and a statue of a white pony. Drew level with the truck and the pony turned to look at my car! It was just a flatbed truck with no rails and the pony wasn’t secured, doing 100km an hour!! No way my pony would be as chill as that..

I half expected to see my old friend on this thread - he used to live around muswell hill and always always regardless of the weather wore very skimpy denim shorts. It the deep winter he might wear a jumper hat and gloves, but always the shorts. A lovely older gentleman, I’ve lost track of him now but I know he was sniggered at more than once.

I was on a bus in a traffic jam once. Looked down into the cab of a white van to see the driver wanking. Hilarious. He had a big audience by the end.

I once saw a man do a poo at the base of an orange tree in a park in Rome. Totally unconcerned.

Woman in Tokyo pushing a pram. I peeped into the pram expecting to see a cute baby.

Instead I saw a small fluffy dog wearing a baby's bonnet.

Reminds me of the time I was on the bus with my baby and overheard the other woman with a pram shouting at her baby. It was a carrycot type pram so I knew the baby must have only been small and I just couldn’t believe how nasty she was being. Then a fucking staffie popped up out of the carrycot…

I didn't see it myself, but my FIL encountered a local 'character' sleeping overnight in the charity clothes bank when he went to donate some old clothes. I suppose, if you're going to do that, it's a much wiser choice than the bottle bank!

Also, dear old Frank Robinson who used to hop around with a big grin on his face and bash at play his kiddy's toy xylophone in Nottingham city centre every day. There's a commemorative stone to him there, now that he's no longer with us.

I remember Xylophone Man. It was on the news when he died. He was lovely, and I loved when he'd do Christmas songs!

It is often on Public Transport, isn't it? Mine are pretty tame in comparison to some. Man on bus, eating raw sausages and spitting them out on the floor after opening his mouth to give others a view Another man on the bus eating a packet of a well known brand of cat treat. Luckily my cat wasn't with me on a lead or he would have had no chance.

I saw a commuter on the train whip out a loaf of bread, packet of ham, butter,crisps , fruit etc and make up 5 packed lunches in Tupperware boxes. It was evening so I guess trying to make good use of the travel time!

Aside from the sheer grim mankiness of it from the pov of the other people who have to observe it.... when it comes to the public pooers, don't they, erm, crinkle and itch for the rest of the day until they eventually bother to wipe it?

It must have been bad enough for the now infamous man on Embarrassing Bodies who wanted to show the whole nation attended with a worsening discomfort in his bum crevice and, following a swift examination, was tactfully told by Dr Christian that he 'might want to re-visit his wiping technique' - but at least he (presumably) made some kind of effort and didn't just drop his trousers and curl one out on the floor of the fresh fruit aisle at Tesco.

I saw someone walking their cat on a lead a few weeks ago. 🤷‍♀️

I used to take my pet rabbit on a lead for a hop around the block when I was a kid. The rabbit loved it.

Back in 2020 when people started wearing masks, there was a bloke walking around town with a kids full face tiger mask on.

Would like to say it's strange, but this is Cornwall.

I often see an elderly (80's) man who rides around on his bicycle. He always wears 'interesting' outfits - jaunty sailor suit, pirate suit, top hat etc etc

Several unfortunately.

A couple shagging in Hyde Park when I was in my lunch break, not even trying to be discreet.

A couple shagging on a tube train.

In San Francisco a guy walking in front of us just casually pulled his trousers down and had a massive dump on the pavement.

At work a giant poo was discovered in the lift lobby. Unfortunately I was asked to help with the CCTV review. A courier just decided to have a shit while waiting for the lift. The toilets were right next to the lift.

On a bus years ago, man in front took a shit and managed to get it everywhere - then walked off smearing it all over the handrails, stop button etc . It was up his back; his face and on his shoes .

He seemed totally sane otherwise, he even thanked the driver when he got off !!

Was this in the early 2000's? I used to see him all the time - handsome black guy, lovely heavyset piebald? I used to envy him cantering about on Clapham Common. Always made me smile.

Another South London hilight - the chap who used to ride his bike around Tooting in a mini kilt and no pants, his little kilt blowing up in the breeze. Bet no one stole his bike Grin
