I just came out of Asda and walked by a car with a woman chucking back scoops of Cow and Gate powder!

I thought in my head that can't be right, maybe she's suspicious parenting and testing to see if it's okay.

Saw her doing the same again when I drove off. Just taking scoops and eating them!

What's the strangest thing you've seen someone do in public?

A gimped up man bent double with a huge St. Andrews cross on his back staggering down North End Road, W. Kensington. It reminded me of Jesus's journey to Calvary.

Stuck in traffic & a man driving an open top sports car changed from jeans & a tee-shirt to full tuxedo & bow tie.

A man who set up in a park each week, a petting zoo full of plastic dinosaurs and lizards and charged admission. He also painted lampshades to sell while tending his zoo.

A young lady in McDonald's sat down with her ¼lb meal, fashioned the box into a plate, then proceeded to eat it with a knife and fork that she'd brought with her.

I will confess to being a cat walker on occasion.

Late at night in Brixton…A lone prostitute being picked up by a van absolutely jam packed with men (I’d guess 9-10 of them). By her appearance I would say she had severe addiction issues. This was about 15 years ago now and it made me so sad, I still think of her often.

In Phuket, I saw a guy riding a motorbike with wife and kid in a square sidecar thing next to him. So far so normal. However, behind him was sat a cat, very calmly licking itself. Kid in the sidecar thing was ocassionally stroking the cat. Everyone relaxed and happy as he did 30 mph along the streets! I wish I'd have got a video!

An older lady with one of those reborn dolls, seen her twice now in a local cafe and in our park. Cradling it and smoothing its head, rocking it like it was alive. The doll looked like a dead baby though and although I know some women have them it just looked so strange. She was alone both times so I presume no dementia.

I've told this story before. We had a lady years ago near where I worked who had a breakdown after her husband died and used to wear several different outfits. My poor late DH caught her in his car headlights one night at midnight dressed as a Russian cossack! I was asleep and got a shock too when he slammed on the brakes and screamed.
She also at other times wore a boy scouts uniform and a white lolipop ladies coat and sailors hat!

We have a man who walks an array of ferrets in various outfits (them not him) DD was particularly thrilled to see them all in tutus and tiaras once, he also often walks a large lizard (no clothes for the lizard) and a peacock. He looks like he's always living his best life tbh.

Poor animals but he looks like he wants to entertain his neighbours

Walking around Central Park in New York- a woman was walking near us quite normally, crouched down with an outstretched arm and a squirrel hopped up her arm onto her shoulder and she carried on walking. Didn't even look down at the squirrel.

Also saw the most beautiful man (looked like Peter Steele) there do a poo in the middle of the 'sidewalk'. He just squatted, pulled down his trousers, did his business, then walked back the way he came.

Where I used to live near Camberwell and I used to see a black girl on the bus sometimes. White flour/powder in her hair, white make up and a white sheet or something over her

Why post his photo? He's minding his own business and you don't know why he's carrying carrying it. I have two children with developmental disabilities, the eldest still carries a soft toy at times for comfort/security. I'd hate to think when he's older and potentially getting buses by himself that people would take photos of him and post it online for the sole purpose of laughing at him.

At Glastonbury, a lady stripped naked below the waist laid down on the floor, legs spread, touching herself. I’ve seen a couple of men wanking in public but this was more shocking somehow.

A lady pushing a big pushchair designed for 5/6 babies. Peering inside, they all looked peaceful and asleep, then I realised they were those reborn doll things. I saw her later and she was showing off a doll enthusiastically to a passerby, so I assume she makes or sells them.

I saw someone walking their horse through our town centre. It's not far from the countryside, so I thought maybe they were getting the horse used to traffic. Otherwise I have no clue.

I remember once getting on the train home in rush hour in London.
I was sitting opposite a very smartly dressed business man in an expensive looking suit. He got out his bag one of those meal deal pasta pots you get. A creamy looking one.

He opens it and starts eating it with his hands!! Scooping out big handfuls and shoving it into his mouth. It was all dripping down his suit and on his shoes, it was disgusting and it was just the most bizzare thing to see. Everyone in the carriage was looking at him with a Wtf expression!!

So weird 😂

Recently met a man wearing only Speedos and a back pack with a sail, in a local charity shop. We're in a city that is nowhere near a beach.

Not quite in public but about three years ago I was on the bus home one winter evening, glanced out the window and we were passing a big old Victorian terrace with a basement flat. In the basement flat were four people with horses heads on (like the Vienna accordion player pictured earlier in the thread), full dinner suits, playing cards.

Guy asleep opposite us on a packed train, green candle snot dripping from his nose and down his shirt- woke up and fully blew his nose on his shirt sleeve.
Woman yesterday in some sort of jumpsuit type outfit in retail centre car park, didnt take a lot of notice until I saw her deliberately pull it up as high as she could to give herself a very obvious camel toe and then proceed into Wilkos, as she walked around the shop she occasionally stopped and yanked it back up again.
Man carrying a long (about 3 metre) length plank of wood on his head down the main street, with passers by ducking underneath to avoid decapitation, this was in west africa, carrying things on your head is fairly normal there, but this was the one and only time I saw something as large as that on someone's head.
Woman in pub climb up and sit and wee in the sink because she couldnt be arsed to go into a cubicle.
