So my Bus (let's call it Bus Z. The countdown said 1 minute, then due. I think you will all agree that at 1 minute it should have been at or near the stop before (which I cannot see because the road bends). Due means it is coming, from the stop before, right?
Suddenly it is off the board and another bus (no previously on the board) will be along in 6 minutes, another bus (Y) I could get would be along in 9 minutes. Then a number of other buses jockey for position (yes I know this is normal , buses overtake each other etc etc) but why say a bus is due when it isn't!
I think mine is the only explanation!
I saw another bus Z on the system coming in 24 minutes but had already decided to get bus Y when what comes hurtling towards me but bus Z (not on the indicator!!).
It looked none the worse for it's ordeal!
