Day 2 tests

Hi
We recently returned from a green list country. We had booked Day 2 tests before travelling and these were dispatched on time but are now not due to arrive until Day 4. What would you do in this situation? Family of 4, so quite costly to pay again to test somewhere else. Are these all properly tracked? Should we forget about it?

This happened to us coming back from a green list country. Ordered the day 2 tests a week before we flew. They didn’t turn up until nearly a week after we arrived Angry. I emailed and demanded my money back. Had to chase that up repeatedly, but eventually got a refund.

Nobody official ever checked whether we’d done the day 2 tests and there was nowhere (official) to complain that the tests never showed up.

Just a total sham.

Thank you @LosingItInLockdown
I will chase for a refund and not stress about dragging the teens out of bed tomorrow to find somewhere to do the tests then.

Mine arrived on day 4, I did it & sent back, no one seems to be checking so I wouldn't stress over it. Could do a lateral flow if you want to be diligent.

Thanks @flightofthewilderbeast
I will wait til Monday and if the tests arrive we will do them. If they're any later I will try to get a refund.
What a waste of time/money/plastic.....

100% agree @stringerb. It’s ridiculous Angry.

Our day 2 tests arrived before we left - we did them as planned but got our results 5 day later - total waste of time.

The test centre we went to for the pre travel tests was a quickly converted lock up on an industrial estate and manned by surely teenagers with a printout and a clipboard. £700 we paid - someone somewhere is making millions!
