Is this hand, foot and mouth disease? (Photo)

2 year old DD has hand, foot and mouth disease, and has spots on her hands and feet along with bad nappy rash. I've developed these hard, painful pimples on my face but nowhere else (none on my hands or feet, and no nappy rash Grin). I don't get cold sores so do you reckon I've caught DD's HFM?

Asking on here as I'm not going to speak to a doc - too trivial - but I'm still curious.

Probably. Don't go to the pharmacist or doc, there's not much you can do for it and it can spread very quickly among adults who haven't had it.

Another pic, light is probably a bit better in this one.

Are the chin spots normal for you? It's only the lip one that would concern me.

If you Google hand, foot and mouth in adults there are some very similar pictures. It looks like it could well be especially as your daughter has it so you know you've been exposed.

I hope you both get better quickly.

The lip ones look like when my children had it 😢 hope you both feel better soon

Bah. Thought so. Right, I'll avoid contact with people until it goes away.

Honestly, DD has some new infection every other week. I'm starting to think nurseries are just festering cesspits of bacteria and viruses Sad

Yes it looks like it! Echo what the others said, don't get it looked at because it's super contagious. Both of mine had it as toddlers and it went away quite quickly, if that is any consolation. Feel better soon!
