Hi im looking for some advice for my son. He's been trying to join the police to do an apprenticeship. He passed everything needed. Apart from the residency check. He will be 19 in September. He's only been on the electoral register a few weeks. He's only had a bank account for about 18 months or so. He does not have a passport or driving licence. Although he's just sent of for his provisional.
So as I said the issue seems to be with proof of residency. They want to go back 6 years so he would have been 12. So there's no proof of him living at any of the addresses at all. He put his address tjat He's lived ad over the past 6 years . We are on temporary accommodation and have been moved a few times. Over the past few years or so. One place we were there 3 weeks another place 3 or 4 months . I'm wondering if this is what's caused the problems.
Any advice on what we can do ? Thank you
