What can I do with my £160 worth of Tesco points?

Hello! They expire 31st Aug or some of them do. Do I just have to have booked something with them by 31st Aug or do I have to actually go somewhere before then?

We are 2 adults and 2 children age 12 and 14. Any suggestions of how we can spend these?

I know I've heard of some people using them for a short break but how do I do that?

TIA

I think just booked.
Longleat 😁

poshme · 20/08/2021 19:12

We spend ours on meals out (prezzo and cafe rouge mostly) and sometimes days out (longleat, Alton towers).

If they are going to expire you could just spend them on shopping though they're worth less.

Worth looking properly through all the rewards online.

doodledooo · 20/08/2021 19:14

You could use some of them to buy a delivery pass?

I use them to buy wine
There’s not loads you can do with them anymore
I used to use them to buy school uniform, but you can’t order it online anymore, and no Tesco’s near me sell clothes.

I think just booked. Longleat 😁
We really want to go there too. How many vouchers do you need per entry?

Bought DH and I the Two Together railcard and DD the under 25 yrs version ( £10 each in vouchers )
The best thing I ( I mean we ) did was use £250 in vouchers exchanged to Goldsmiths vouchers and bought myself a nice bit of jewellery ( that was in the old days when they exchanged 4 times the value )

Take them to Tesco and buy loads of wine and keep it for Christmas ( because that would really happen in my house ) 🍾

itsgettingwierd · 20/08/2021 19:20

Go onto Tesco club card rewards and it explains it.

Currently 50p of vouchers is worth £1.50 towards days out and I think that's the same for eating out and breaks.

When you book the tickets it tells you the expiry date to use the reward.

That £160 is worth £480 in days out so it's worthwhile using them quick if they expire!

teenmumandsowhat · 20/08/2021 19:21

I tend to use mine for Cineworld.

ThereWillBeFood · 20/08/2021 19:21

Look at the Denby ( pottery) offers. I’ve just got a gorgeous new dinner set for £5 delivery!

helpfulperson · 20/08/2021 19:22

You can also donate them to the Trussell Trust. I can't remember what the multiple factor is.

xyzandabc · 20/08/2021 19:23

All of this is explained on their website. Go and have a look at what you can spend it on. Decide what you fancy. Then each different offer will tell you what you need to do to redeem the points for it.

I've had a few nights away through hotels.com, they seem to be the least faff/quickest option for booking.

poshme · 20/08/2021 19:26

@Primrosejoy you click on the longleat Tesco link.
£1 in Tesco voucher gives you £3 towards longleat ticket.

It'll automatically work out which of your vouchers to use. Any 'change' is the reformed to your Tesco account.

Longleat is about £34 adults, £25 kids so for 2+2 you'd spend £40 Tesco vouchers.

Redtartanshoes · 20/08/2021 19:29

Do you have £160 worth or once you triple them they are £160?

You can use them at goldsmiths I think, and once you convert into vouchers you have 6 months to use

I use mine at pizza express cafe rouge and prezzo

fussygalore118 · 20/08/2021 19:29

I just used mine on sone bits from Denby:)

Gingerkittykat · 20/08/2021 19:34

I am going to double my clubcard vouchers and use them in their phone shop.

BlueThursday · 20/08/2021 19:36

I find using the clubcard app rhe easiest way to work out what your vouchers are worth at different venues or experiences

£160 to start off with. I've just looked and £50 gets me £150 at Longleat :-)

Yay! I've exchanged £50 for Longleat for us and my niece! :-)

We mostly use them for Pizza Express but I bought myself a beautiful Denby mug that brings me SUCH joy and it cost me £4 in vouchers.

giraffes2021 · 20/08/2021 19:40

Eh am I missing something here?? Can the £5 vouchers you get through the post etc be used somewhere other than Tesco?!

wendz86 · 20/08/2021 19:42

I exchanged for chef and brewers vouchers recently and the vouchers last a year so you wouldn’t have to use them straight away.

Ducksurprise · 20/08/2021 19:42

Indoor sky diving, Thorpe Park, Prezzo, Longleat...anyone would think I'd spent a lot at Tesco over lockdown... they have been a god send this summer, the exchange isn't as good anymore as now 50p clubcard gives you £1.50 vouchers but still, I took 8 people out for three course meal and coffee at Prezzo and it cost me £75 as the drinks are extra (hot drinks incl) used £235 of clubcard vouchers

Ducksurprise · 20/08/2021 19:43

Yes! Clubcard Boost, much better than instore
evtheria · 20/08/2021 19:48

I think you used to be able to buy an unlimited Cineworld pass - I was always tempted, but we usually end up spending ours on easy big family meals out. Nowhere exciting, Pizza Express etc, but everyone having lots of starters and all the desserts is always nice!
