I’m always interested in these threads and have got some great recommendations from them.

Mine are:
Face halo - it means I take my make off even when I’m completely knackered and my skin is so much better for it

Boots gel eye drops - I suffer from really bad dry eyes and popping these in before bed has been a game changer for me

Breathe Right Nasal strips - stop me waking up with a headache and I look VERY sexy to boot

Newton’s Chiropody Sponge - literally a miracle worker on my cloven, hard, cracked hooves

Anyone else?

A key safe for the side of our house. We put a house key in it which can be accessed when the correct code is entered. It has meant we can get in when we left without our keys and have been able to ask people to check on the house when we’ve been away. So simple but saves potentially stressful situations

A longer cable to charge my phone with so I can charge and look at my phone while in bed Grin

A little set of watercolour paints, found a lovely relaxing new hobby.

A 2nd laundry basket so I've got one upstairs and one downstairs.

Sticky labels for wires, so no longer keeping 100s because might be useful and no idea what for. Label every new wire as soon as you get it. Double fold back on self

Sticky hooks on front door for keys masks

Second extra long charging wire

Velcro sticky TV/DVD/sound bar controls to each other

@Whatinthelord I had thought of doing the same but someone mentioned this may invalidate your home insurance. Just a heads up in case you wanted to check your policy.

Oh really. I’ll check that.

New guitar picks that are thicker and good for playing bass.

@B1rdinthebush is that just in England or nationally?

B1rdinthebush · 20/08/2021 15:16

@JingsMahBucket I guess it'll be down to individual policies rather than location.
