Our holiday to celebrate a big life milestone has been cancelled (it was to the US). We thought it would be but we were holding out for a miracle.
So we have a week to use now. We’ve spent all evening looking and I think we’re going holiday blind. We want somewhere with a view, we’re in the Midlands (Staffordshire) so we’re thinking anywhere within a 4 hour drive.
Its for 2 adults, no pets, kids staying at home. We ideally want somewhere with a nice view, with some nice walks and nice scenery. Ideally with a hot tub but that’s not a deciding factor. We are going 13th September for 5 nights but could go on the 12th for 5 nights. Our budget is about £700 for 5 nights. We’ve looked at everything on air bnb and saw a lovely one but then the cleaning and service fee added an extra £200 onto the bill so we have discounted that.
We could also go for 4 nights. We don’t mind coastal or rural as long as it’s pretty! If anyone can help or recommend anywhere other than air bnb that would be great!
