I need your advice on how to wash mixed fabric which says dry clean only. For example a viscose polyester lurex blend, and also a wool-silk blend.
I think most things can take a gentle wash, I even read about how someone puts their Chanel jackets in the washing machine and they come out just fine.
I have a few Missoni items and they are all dry clean only. I usually wash everything myself - wool, silk, cashmere, anything, as long as it’s on a gentle cycle with the right detergent it’s always fine, but I’m wary of mixed fabrics which have lurex or viscose. What are your thoughts? Do you think a gentle hand wash would work?
