I bought (by mistake) a box of Le Rustique camembert in 8 individually wrapped portions, but I have no idea how to bake it. Can anybody help please?

8 individual round cheeses?

Remove cheese from packaging. Place in round remekin thing (in our house we have some for dips etc. that fit a camembert perfectly, but you can buy ones marketed just for this job).

Peel a clove of garlic and quarter lengthways. Push garlic into cheese. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary. Put ramekin on oven tray. Bake on 180ish for 25 minutes or so. Enjoy with crusty bread/crudités.

Delicious and so easy! Can obviously change up the toppings/accompaniments.

I don't think they are baking Camembert? Are they similar to Dairylea triangles?

yes they are. So you think they are not for baking? That's bad news...

Thank you and also thank outfoxed.

Is it different to normal camerbert

i haven't opened the little packages yet to be honest as I'm not sure if they should remain closed for baking, but I'll have a look now. yes, they look like the normal camembert that you can bake. I'm wondering whether I should bake them inside their greased paper wrappings?
