Just seen the footage of the toddlers being handed over the fence to the American soldiers by their mothers, in the desperate hope they will be safe, and my heart is absolutely breaking.
No point to this post, just sitting here in tears wondering wtf is going on, and feeling so incredibly helpless...

I can't believe no one has replied to this.
It's horrific. I've got my little girl asleep upstairs and I can't imagine how desperate I'd need to be to pass her over a crowd of people into a strangers arms. Absolutely heartbreaking. Someone has to do something ?

I can’t imagine how desperate the families must be to hand over their children to strangers.

I wonder what will happen to these children? I wonder if they take details from the adults to aim to reunite them at a later time.
