Is there a way to fix these little lights?

The wire I'm holding in the picture, has come off the connector bit in their battery box. They're only cheap, so not the end of the world if not, but dd2 would like to put them up so I said I'd ask if there was a way to fix them (they work if I hold the wire to the silver bit in the box).

It looks like the wire just needs to be soldered back on. An easy enough job if you know anyone with a soldering iron.

Soldering iron, dab of Solder, job done.
