Mummy tummy

Just wondered of anyone has advice for toning a flabby 'Mummy tummy'? To give some background, my youngest weighed 9lb 4oz at birth and I carried her all on the front. She was even born with club feet, which the midwives put down to me being slim and her being so large. She's now 7 years old, and my tummy feels like it did a week after her birth. I hate it so much, I don't get changed in front of anyone or wear anything remotely clingy. I've tried planks to tone up, but they've done nothing - is this a lost cause? Thanks in advance!

If you have list the baby weight elsewhere, could you have diastis recti (collapsed abs)? If this is the case, you'll need to do excercises catered to that. Not sure if you want to fork out any money but there are many companies that can help with this e.g. Mummy MOT www.themummymot.com/ and mutusystem.com/en-uk/

I was coming on to say it could be diastis recti, loads of you tube videos on exercises that can help (Bodyfit by Amy springs immediatley to mind but there should be lots more).
