10 year old pamper ideas

I'm out of ideas. What would be good things to put in a pamper basket for a 10 year old? I keep thinking of things like foot masks but surely a 10 year old doesn't need their foot skin peeling off. Any ideas welcome. She already moisturises. 9 going on 19 😂

A hair care kit? A pretty set of scrunchies and pins, handheld mirror, a small bottle of hair conditioner and bubble bath, a new hair brush.
Is she allowed to get her nails varnished? If so a pretty coloured varnish and all the related paraphernalia. Lip balm and so on.

You can get the foot socks that don’t peel/exfoliate the skin but just moisturise them.
Lush is nice for masks, moisturisers, bath bombs ect.
Nail polish/nail file
Fluffy dressing own

Coloured hair wax has been a hit this summer.

Bath bombs are popular too.

or add stuff that isn't all beauty- magazines, meditation cd, nice fruit, a book to read, herbal fruit teabags, a voucher for a swimming session, soft blanket or cushion? I think it's a bit sad to get a 9 year old on a beauty products treadmill to be honest- it's all a bit icky and about capitalism monetising our need for self care and making us focus on our appearance. Girls don't need their families supporting the wider cultural idea that they should use beauty products, we should be helping them to avoid it.

Hot chocolate, mug and marshmallows

But if she's specifically asked for it I won't ignore it. She says it makes her feel nice 🤷‍♀️

I kind of agree with the pp a bit. There's a difference between self care and 'beauty' I think. At 9 she absolutely doesn't need moisturiser unless she has unusual skin, maybe an SPF would be an option. I like the idea of a meditation book, or yoga session or something. I get the idea of a basket of goodies but I'd make the focus well being rather than make up etc.

No make up!! Christ no. I was thinking face and foot masks type stuff. Nothing that changed her. She already does her skin every night 🤷‍♀️ it's not a makeover kit 😬😬
