What should I watch on my Amazon Prime free trial?

I'm currently watching the 5th series of The Expanse, but I'll still have the best part of a month once I've finished that. I was hoping the second series of Upload would be out by now, but it isn't.

Any recommendations? I like sci-fi (obviously). I like some crime drama like Unforgotten, but not Scandi crime or anything with too much brooding or angst. I watch some costume drama. I like film thrillers but not series thrillers. I like comedy but am a bit picky about it. Strongly dislike horror unless it's about vampires (that makes no sense to me, but that's how it is).

Apologies. I meant Zoo, not animal Kingdom.

Another vote here for the Marvelous Mrs Maisel. And Clarkson's farm, obviously. I was going to suggest Outlander and Good Omens, but you have covered those already :)

Is Life in Pieces still on there?

I were enjoyed that and thought it was a agave it was cancelled after four series.

He's done more to educate people on modern farming methods in a few hours than Countryfile has done in decades (probably, I stopped watching it a very long time ago). Kaleb (and all of the other Kalebs out there on all of the other farms) shows you that there's a whole other world out there of young people working hard with dedication and enthusiasm that you don't see in many other professions.

Have you watched the first episode yet? It's well over an hour since you got the first recommendation!

We have just started (3 episodes left of the first season) Animal Kingdom, enjoying it so far! It's a cross between Sons of Anarchy and Point Break.

Yes animal kingdom was amazing. Shame Prime didn’t have the last series available - can’t buy it anywhere else either. Will have to be patient.

OP you need to subscribe for a few more months and watch all of the above - including the wonderful This Is Us! It’s worth every penny in my book.

Have you looked at Mr Robot? Not quite sci fi, it’s more dystopian. We enjoyed it as it’s very different - it does get quite twisted though.

It’s actually the only thing we’ve watched on Amazon prime so this thread will give me some ideas for other things!

I think you’ve got the memo to watch clarksons farm 🤣! Didn’t think it would be for us at all , thought he was an arse ..... turns out he’s not ! After being told by two of our kids to watch and then wanting something easy while babysitting..... we were hooked 🙌 it’s funny , eye opening and just lovely. Enjoy

I think I did NEED to have it repeatedly recommended as I am highly resistant to anything that he appears in. I will now give it a go.

I'm having a drink in a pub with four Kalebs! I thought they'd have hated Clarkson's farm but au contraire. It's more that people now understand how unrelenting and hard it is for often so little gain.

The 100... bit late to the game theres 5 or 6 seasons but really enjoyable, set in a sci fi dystopian future, I really enjoyed it.
