Duac for acne

Im in my mid 30s and have fairly new acne after mostly clear skin. My doctor prescribed duac once a day for me to use. Does anyone have any experience of using this? How did you find it? Did it work for you and did you have any side effects?
Also, I know you are supposed to use moisturiser when applying this but does that go on before or after applying the gel?

Yes I used it. Amazing stuff. You do need to store it in the fridge though.

It is very drying and can leave the skin around spots dry and flaky. I found it best to just use every other night rather than every night. It still cleared the spots up but stopped the flakiness.
I put it on after I washed my face and only moisturised the skin without duac on & then moisturised my whole face the next morning as usual after washing.

It worked brilliantly. I even kept my last tube for emergency use. I know it says dispose of x months after opening but it still works, although I rarely use it, just when I have a random spot.

And only apply the thinnest amount.

I have used it and found it very effective for spots I had but it didn’t prevent new ones occurring. I too used at night as part of my overall skincare routine - Still used moisturiser and serums, face masks etc.
It can bleach fabric if I recall, so bear in mind when you go to bed.

I would recommend using an old pillow case and be careful with towels etc, it bleaches them so don't use your best, nice matching set whilst using the duac.

I use it, it’s the only thing that works. It’s excellent.

Personally I use the gel solo at night and moisturise during the day.
