Just had the oddest shopping delivery! DP gets the door whilst I (8 months pregnant and suffering from PGP) stay on the sofa and hold our dog, as he loves people and tends to run outside to greet them/run into the road if left to his own devices 🙄
So DP opens the door and jokes that he’s got a hungry pregnant fiancée inside. The delivery man laughs loudly and says “Oh yeah, I get it” in a conspiratorial tone. Repeats himself about 4 times, laughing, the implication being that pregnant women are hard work.
He then proceeds to whistle and try to call our dog while DP is unpacking the shopping, I keep hold of him for the aforementioned reasons, he keeps doing it, about 5 times, and I say that I can’t let him go because he will run into the road. DP then feels obligated to bring our dog out to greet the delivery driver on the lead as he is desperately wriggling out of my arms to get to the man calling him. Delivery man strokes the dog and says to him, “you’re the easy one in the family yeah?”
DP brings dog back in to me, we’re both a bit bemused. He continues unpacking the shopping. Delivery man then turns his attention back to me (he can’t really see me because I’m not in direct view of the door), and says “come on then let’s see the wife, let’s see how pregnant you are!” I say “no thanks”, pretty weirded out at this point. The man continues and continues, saying his niece had a baby 6 weeks ago (?) so it’s all fresh in his mind. I try to resteer the conversation, saying “oh that’s lovely, what is the baby called” etc, which he ignores and continues to request I come into view, laughing, to which I continue to say no. He then said “oh come on, I’ll peek through the window!” 
thank god DP had finished unpacking at this point and delivery driver went on his way.
Weirdest experience, and I was fuming! A) don’t call my dog to you when he’s clearly being kept inside, what if he was aggressive or terrified of visitors? What if he runs out and into the road, which he would have! B) I’m pregnant, not a freak show. In what world is it acceptable to ask a woman to come outside so you can stare at her body???
Anyone else for any odd experiences?
