Adult day out

Dh and I have managed to get an adult only day this Saturday and it's our wedding anniversary. All the local spas are fully booked and dg doesn't want to go into London. We're in bucks. What should we do?

Kind of depends what sort of things you like doing.

Some people would love to go to somewhere like Go Ape
Some would go for a day's walking in the nearest hills
Some would get up late, potter about, go for a lovely pub lunch
Some would try and get tickets for the local rugby / cricket / football stadium
Some might travel to wherever they are able to go and see a play or a concert or a musical or a film
Some would go to a museum
Some would go to visit a town or City they'd not been to before
Some would spend it shopping
Some would go to a theme park
Some to a cathedral
Some would get a job / some jobs done that they've not been able to do with the dc around
