I have realised I am deeply uninformed about Afghanistan. Until today I thought Imran Khan was a brilliant cricketer, who was married to Jermima Goldsmith and was generally a good person to be PM of Pakistan. He was educated in the UK and went to Oxford.
But he is also a Pashtun and supports the Taliban. I'm really surprised. What do wise mumsnetters know about him and Pakistans relationship with Afghanistan?
It is such a mess.
