Any mums in/around Madrid?

I know it's a long shot, but in case anyone in or around Madrid reads this. I'm a ftm with a 3-m-old DD, and I'm going nuts with the isolation and feeling a bit pathetic. I'm looking for any kind of contact - meetups, online, in English, Spanish, whatever. I'm a bit out of the way though, just outside Madrid. Absolutely nothing to do here, especially in August, no friends nearby, and my maternity leave is hell, to be honest. Just on the off chance. Fingers crossed.

I am still here, and feeling much better! I finally found a mum + baby group (bebeteca) in September, and have made some friends there. Last summer it all just got too much.

Thanks for replying. Are you near Madrid too? I´m out east, in Torrejón.

That's great, I'm so happy for you! I have a 4 months old and I don't know any other moms, I'm pretty much in the same situation as you were last year. I hadn't heard of Bebeteca, I might look into it! I'm in Madrid West (Boadilla)

I found out about the bebeteca via the little booklet our ayuntamiento sends round in August (?) about all the free courses they run from September, although if Boadilla has something similar I'm sure it'll be on the web. It's usually in the ludoteca municipal or the library.

It's tough when you're in a small place, especially in the heat when you can't do much. There's just nothing going on in summer if you don't have a network of friends nearby. Have you been in Spain long? Feel free to DM me if you want to chat more, or even call!
