And did it live up to your memories?
I ask this as there’s a sandwich shop in a nearby town that I used to go to nearly every day (work days) in the late 90’s/early 00’s. It was AMAZING, the bread and cakes were baked locally and all the salads were freshly made in the shop. It’s probably been 17 odd years since I set foot in the place, but I dream of it often!
My go to order was a tuna and coleslaw roll, they somehow made the tuna up in a way I can’t and the coleslaw was so good, not the slimy cheap stuff you get sometimes!
I looked them up recently and they’re still open and the menu still looks the same. I was in that town the other week and decided I’d pop in, I couldn’t wait! But something stopped me, what if it’s all changed and it won’t taste the same and my wonderful memories of the place will be ruined! So I didn’t go in 
It got me wondering if you’ve ever revisited a cafe/restaurant/sandwich shop to see if that once amazing meal is still the same? And was it or were you greatly disappointed?
