Yes, we love it. Had it fitted in our new kitchen a year ago.

Thanks. What was the price difference with granite?

I like ours. It's a lovely subtle mix of colours including some lovely coppery bits, much nicer than dark granite and doesn't show the crumbs need polishing every five minutes.

The only thing I don't like is that after we got it, my t-shirts started getting friction holes, but that probably would have happened with granite too.

I can't remember the price, we never considered granite as we don't like it.

I have quartz and I love it. It can stain with strong things like coffee, curry etc but we make sure to wipe things off straight away.

We have white quartz worktops that we’re installed last September. I love them HOWEVER they are prone to staining. If I spill or prepare food with red sauce etc I have to make sure I wipe up straight away

Fashio · 16/08/2021 08:57

Thanks everyone, so curry and tomato sauce ☠️

I'd never have got a white one.

Looks beautiful, but chips so easily. Not sure I'd get it again for this reason. Can't remember the price difference I'm afraid.

Yes and yes.
We have marble effect quartz and are very happy with it.
Had no issues with staining (but only had it 6 months and are fairly careful).
Love the look and feel.
However, we have a similar looking laminate in another room, and until you get up close you can't tell the difference!

We have dark grey quartz, lovely, don’t use bleach or citrus cleaners on it, also it’s got a few chips in from when I dropped things

The kitchen showroom told me that if something wet was left on granite overnight it would soak in and leave subtle marks. Don’t know if that’s true or not but it put me off. Our quartz worktop has been in a year and looks like new.
