Burnt out and it isn't even Monday yet

I feel totally burnt out and it is a sodding Sunday evening.

I have a stupidly busy 2 weeks of work ahead of me, DH will also be working all hours so I will be doing all the drop offs/pick ups and bedtimes for DS (2), the house is a tip and I am 17 weeks pregnant. Currently trying to find the energy to make myself dinner and it is nearly 10.40pm.

How do other people manage this? Am I just being pathetic? What are you meant to do when nothing can 'give'?

I think the best thing to do is take one day at a time. You will feel overwhelmed and more stressed if you think too far ahead.

Rest when you can and don’t feel guilty about chores building up as you’re pregnant.

I manage by distracting myself and trying to only think about one day at a time. I have a hideous week ahead of me but I'm just trying to focus on what I need to do tomorrow and ignoring the rest of it.

I manage this ok during the day but 3am is a whole other matter...

Ah yes the sleepless nights and panic wakes that get your mind racing again.

I will try to take one day at a time, although definitely easier said than done in my industry!
