Anyone with neighbour CCTV issues?

My neighbour has put up CCTV with audio in every corner of her house. One is pointed at my house, my drive and into my garden. Also a light beam at night that comes into my bedroom window.

She refuses to use pixialation or to mask off areas which are not her property.

I've advised her of her obligations under the GPDR, and she just stonewalls and says she is compliant - but she isn't ! - and then she blocked my car in, I had to manoeuvre to get out and she lodged a complaint with the police that I "hit and run". They said there was nothing in her complaint. She is in my opinion rather deluded. She told another neighbour she was going to let her (large) house out to the HA on condition that they use it to house ex offenders and drug users, to "punish" all her nasty neighbours.

Anyway my question is has anyone had any experience of challenging CCTV use? I feel completely exposed to her gaze, we have never got on but have ignored each other for the last four years since she moved in. All the neighbours dislike her and many people surrounding her house also object to her CCTV.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Have you sought legal advice?

@Boombadoom The two solicitors I've tried so far aren't Interested. They said complain to the ICO, who then said they don't get involved with domestic CCTV. It seems like a gap in the law: it's against the law to film people without their consent via cctv but no one seems willing to uphold that law. Or maybe I've not found the right solicitor ?

You can go on the information commissioner's website and fill out a form to report a breach of the regulations. I think it's ico.org.uk off the top of my head.

They have something like a nine month backlog, but still do it. Also speak to the neighbourhood policing team. It sounds to me as though your neighbour may be ill and possibly suffering from periods of paranoia.
