I seem to have slept through a section
The grey beardy guy (wife with MH problems) who appeared not as bad as the rest and regretting some actions
He seems to be pretty bad now and the head guy. What happened to his wife and how has he ended up in this position, especially when he helped June

When June said she’d shagged him to the courtroom people, I couldn’t remember if she had.

As for why he’s seeming evil now, because the plot requires it I guess if he’s to be in cahoots with Aunt Lydia…

Aunt Lydia gave him the dirt on the other Commanders.

She took her own life in the last series after Waterford made them go through the ceremony. June found her but didn’t save her. I suspect he has his own reasons for being in the position he is now… still not sure what side he’s on!

I guess we'll have to wait and see if he really is bad. All of them have to toe the line or they would be ousted

Yeah he's a tricky one to understand. He's head guy as he used some dirt on the commanders Aunt Lydia gave him as a trade for her being reinstated as an Aunt. His wife took her own life (overdose I think?). June saw her dying and decided not to help her (I think she thought she was doing her a kindness or something). I don't think we're supposed to 'get him' in the show, he's very confusing. A bit like Nick.

I think he's out for himself and will share and take I fo as he thinks it will benefit him.
