Wasps emerging from car - any advice??

Twice in the last week I’ve pulled out of my drive and driven about 200 yards when a wasp has emerged from the passenger seat (not sure where as I’ve only noticed when they’re in my side vision but definitely flying diagonally from where the seat is) and flown towards my side of the car. Both times (thank god) I’ve just about managed to contain my panic, open the driver’s side window and they’ve flown out!

Both times I’ve had the windows closed from when I set off and until this point. First time I thought it was just a fluke but now I’m getting paranoid! Has this happened to anyone else?

I’ve googled it with no joy and searched for a nest inside the car or door jamb but nothing to see.

Don’t know specifically but I’ve just had two wasp traps from Amazon as we have a garden which is prone to nests and although we’ve removed two we’ve also still got a large amount which makes sitting out tricky, so I got these traps.

They come with a recipe for solution you make up and believe me it’s irresistible to them - night one we got 30 wasps (no bees, wouldn’t do it if it trapped bees).

No reason why you couldn’t set one up in the footwell of your car. They can be used indoors and out.
