Weird windscreen?

I bought a car in February and ever since I feel like when I drive at night the lights are "dispersed" a bit. It definitely didn't happen with my old car so it's not that Astigmatism. Is there anything that might have been added to the windscreen to make it like this or anything I can do?

Unfortunately I didn't drive at night for a while so didn't realise til I'd had the car for a while

My car does this. Ford, heated windscreen. I hate it, we're changing it.

Oh thank you!! I couldn't understand why I was seeing it. It's actually a Skoda (my old car was quite old so defo didn't have it). I'm not actually sure if it does have the heated elements but have googled how to check and will do so tomorrow

I might actually look into getting the windscreen replaced if I don't get used to it once I'm driving in the dark again.

I don't understand how anyone finds this ok to drive with?? Surely everyone finds it annoying and more difficult to see.
