Hello

You're bound to know... Amazon reviews for 'knitting kits' aren't generally that positive. So I thought a book, and some decent needles and some decent yarn. But I really need some recommendations please.

Over to you!

Thank you.

If she struggles then put knitting aside for awhile and try crochet which is much easier then go back to knitting when she has more dexterity/concentration etc.

I highly recommend knitpro zing needles, although you could always try the basix ones from knitpro until you know they like knitting! Or some cheaps kids needles (I have a pair my daughter doesn't use as she wasn't bothered by knitting, I use them to do sleeves on baby cardigans as they're small). Also recommend poundland wool, it's 3 for 2 and they have lovely colours, it washes and wear well too! Boyes also have a good stock of wool! Hope they enjoy it, I took it up again when I was pregnant with my last baby as I had sciatica and coxyxdinia and had to rest...I progressed from a basic baby blanket to a corner to corner rainbow blanket, have a Harry styles cardigan to finish for my daughter and knit prem baby/baby cardigans/hats/booties and blankets! It's my relaxation. I can't crochet however just can't get my head around it 🤣🤣
