Got a rare child free few hours tomorrow to mooch around IKEA. Don't really need any furniture, but always love a storage solution. Apart from tealights etc what other household gems have they got....I'm making a list!!

On Thursday, my son picked up a dinosaur that folds back into an egg. He absolutely loves it.

I doubt that's the kind of thing you're after, though.

tiredmama2020 · 15/08/2021 15:43

@oldfarmgirl Don’t forget a coffee and a slice of Daim cake in the cafe 😍 or a whole cake from the shop to take home if you’re like DH and I 🤣
I love their 50p spatulas 🙈🤣 also the clips for sealing bags 👍🏻
The “Krama” washcloths from the kids section are fab too! £3.50 for 10 🙌🏻 I use them for cleaning up DS and his high chair after meals 👍🏻

@Greenbuttonsbluebuttons

Their fekjas!
What's a fekjas? Is it food?

The spatulas are brilliant and excellent at getting all the food out off the bowl or saucepan. Clips for food packaging are also excellent. Tea towels and surprisingly stationary (wrapping paper, nice tape or string) very handy and work well for adults and children. Their stuff is cleverly designed.

ExtremelyDisorganised · 15/08/2021 20:15

It will probably be rammed this week with uni students and their families who have just got their places confirmed after A levels.

Talisin · 15/08/2021 20:21
