Does anyone here have family or friends in Australia?

I know the Australian customs are strict with prohibited items but I don't know the full list.

Does anyone know can you send colouring pencils by post to Australia? Will they be not allowed? How about markers? Will they be classified as liquids?

Just accurately label the contents for postal customs checks. If it isn't fresh food or the implements of terrorism you should be golden.

liquids relates to airplane carry on baggage

I live in Australia and can tell you with full confidence we are allowed colouring pencils and textas into the countryGrin.

But you can’t send a rose bush or a hock of ham.

Accurately fill in the forms and should be fine but to be honest I wouldn't bother unless they are particularly special colouring pencils and pens. My family in Australia tell me anything made in China is cheaper to buy in Australia than over here. Apparently books are really expensive, could you send books instead?

Thanks. I don't want my package to be sent back to me at the borders.

Could you not just order from Australian Amazon?

Spottysausagedogs · 15/08/2021 15:05

👆 this would have been my suggestion too, unless you've already bought the presents.

Google Toymate Australia.
My son lives in Oz and we order and pay for toys for grand daughter online. They deliver.
