Help! Used Rug Doctor and now carpet stinks!!

As title. DH was rather enthusiastic and went over it 3 times. This was on Wednesday and the carpet/room now absolutely honks. Like damp 🤮. What can we do??

You’re going to have to let it dry out. If you’ve rh money buy a dehumidifier from Amazon. If not windows open and give it time.

Yes, open windows and let it dry out. The usually smell a bit after they've been washed.

This is terrible for the planet, (but then so would be having to buy all new carpets), but you could also blast central heating with window open.
