I’m wanting to take my kids to a theme park probably chessington but I HATE rides! Are kids able to go on them on their own and if so from what age? (I’m a single parent so will be going alone)

It depends on height not age. www.chessington.com/explore/theme-park-zoo/rides-attractions/

We currently rent in Epsom and looking to but our first home. We are considering Chessington. Other than obvious differences like shops and trains, are there any immediate concerns or things to consider about Chessington. Thanks

@NellyBee22 you need to start your own thread!

Epsom and Chessington are both ok. I'd say Epsom is a bit posher and probably more of its own little place whereas Chessington is a suburb of Kingston really. Are you looking at schools?

Depends on how tall they are! Mine are 7 and 9 and now I queue up with them and deposit them on a ride and wait for them at the exit. Some of them, like the vampire, have long waiting areas that you can’t see clearly all the way round so I don’t like them to queue on their own.

It's based on height. I may well be wrong so don't quote me on this but I think 110cm for some rides.

Lots to do at Chessington not just rides,we have been every year for many years,my kids loved it there.
Avoid vampire as this is the scariest!!
