Has anyone used insect smoke bombs?

I have a tub of insect smoke bomb. I want to use it for my room. I think I might have some creepy crawlies in the room like carpet beetles or something. I am planning on creating a space and lighting it tomorrow morning because I will be at home. When I do this job, I will close the bedroom door.

My concern is that it might set of the smoke alarm. I really don't want to do that because there will be a hungover person in the room next door but tomorrow is probably the only day I have to use it until next weekend again when I will hopefully be free.

Has anyone used one of these smoke bombs? Do they set of smoke alarms?

I used one for fleas some time ago. I don't know if they're the same thing but it didn't affect the smoke alarms. It wasn't really like smoke, more fog, if that makes sense?

We used two of these in our house when we had a particularly stubborn flea infestation.

We set them off and then went out and let them do their thing.
Unfortunately they DID set our smoke alarms off and the neighbours called the fire brigade who came round and kicked the back door in. Blush
I felt like such an idiot wasting the fire brigades time.
