Is it still possible to purchase advanced train tickets?

I am not being given any advanced ticket options on national rail or trainline. com. For travel in a week. Usually there would be something. I'm just getting a general return price due every time of the day. Can I check any other way? Going from east to change at London then South.

How weird. I booked advance tickets a couple of weeks ago. Have you tried going to the website of the specific train company? GNER or GWR or Southern or wherever.

I'm only able to check on a phone and would usually book using a pc. I wonder if that is why I'm seeing no extra options.

Trainline is definitely offering m me advance tickets for Ipswich to London and London to Canterbury. Have you tried searching separately?

I’m looking on Trainline app

I bought advance rickets on Trainline app a few weeks ago.

Yes but they mess around with when they release them ime

They may have been all sold out (there are only a finite number). Alternatively they havent been released yet (as PP says, covid has screwed up ticket releases) although with only a week to go that'd be odd.

I'd check the actual train operators' websites.

Thanks - I will do that.
