I think my baby may have IBS but doctors seem to be useless. What symptoms does your LO have? Was it easy to get a diagnosis?

How old is your baby? Ours had cow's milk protein allergy which gave her very painful constipation but runny diarrhea when she had things containing milk. Keep hydrated!!

She’s been diagnosed with cmpa she’s not having gluten or milk
She’s 17 m
Trapped wind even though I’ve literally tried everything! Anything you name I have tried

I used to get her on me, under a duvet and just hold her. As she got warmer she would fart loads then settle and fall asleep.
It's so hard, your doing a great job! As soon as ours could walk life got easier but she struggled with her poo until she was 4 to be honest.

I would say that's unlikely and much more likely down to more intolerances or allergies.

For example if she has CMPA has anyone discussed the likely hood of her having issues with soya?

Not the point of the thread but I have just been on the name board and I was thinking. Omg don't call a baby IBS Grin

Hope you find out ehats wrong with your dd op

If not having gluten- are you making sure your not cross-contaminating with containers/utensils/toaster? Are you checking all ingredients? Are you avoiding barley etc, and oats (except gluten-free ones)?

TiffanyAchingsHatFullofSky · 30/01/2022 10:03

Are you avoiding yoghurt, cheese etc too?
