Just getting over tonsillitis should I get my covid jab today?

I’ve been really unwell since last week with tonsillitis and a uti and was on antibiotics. I’m feeling a little better, glands in neck still swollen and fatigued. I’ve got my jab today at 2 and i am wondering if I should postpone it. I have M.E and I’m still very fatigued from the tonsillitis.

I would postpone it. I know someone in a similar position to you and the nurse at the centre said it was up to them but they would recommend they go away and come back to a walk in session when they felt better. The side effects can be enough to deal with without anything else going on.

Especially with the ME, you don't want to drain your battery too low.
