Anyone out watching?

How is the weather like?
Its forecast to be cloudy where I am so not sure whether I will get a view or not. Missed it yesterday.

I've never seen a real shooting star before. So hope I catch a view of some.

we usually watch every year but they are at their best in the early hours...too late for me these days

seen 15-16 in an hour few years ago

Too cloudy here tonight and yesterday but we saw about 6 really bright longish lasting ones the night before.

Quite cloudy here at the moment so not sure what I'll see before I've got to go to bed.

I stayed up last night (well, til just after midnight) and saw three.

My absolute best time was on holiday in Devon about four years ago. Got up at 3am-ish with the dog who was pestering for a wee, and looked up. Honestly couldn't even count them all.

I stayed up again after missing it last few nights due to bad weather. DH not interested, though he knew I intended to go into the garden around midnight as I do every year, and unbeknownst to me he’s put ‘another’ frickin auto-sensor light up! As soon as I went out the whole place lit up like a Christmas Tree! Tried all the usual switches in utility but none will switch it off (hope neighbours don’t think I’m giving sos signals!).
So, for tonight Im not able to see anything 😩
Fingers crossed tomorrow night is as clear! (and I can drive deep into the countryside without him!)
Or AIBU to LTB Smile
